Hi, I’m Eve -
the postpartum doula behind Held Heart Doula.
As a mother of two, I’ve lived in the tender space of new parenthood. I know the overwhelm, the questions, the vulnerability, and how much it would have meant to have someone simply show up and hold space for all of it. That knowing is what led me here.
After many years as a preschool teacher and becoming a mother myself, I found my way to this work of supporting families through one of life’s most profound transitions. My background in Child Development gave me the foundation, teaching deepened my understanding of attachment and connection, and motherhood gave me the heart.
I understand that the postpartum period isn't just about caring for a newborn.
It's about nurturing the entire family system. You're not only welcoming your baby earthside; you're welcoming your new self. And that new self deserves grace, support, and someone who truly sees you.
I bring a grounded knowledge of child development, warm and nonjudgmental care, and a genuine commitment to meeting you where you are. My goal isn’t to have all the answers — it’s to help you find confidence in your own.
It’s my honor to walk beside you on this journey. I’m here to hold your hand and your heart with tenderness, honesty, and compassion.
